Founded in 2014, Portland Razor Co. manufactures straight razors and shaving supplies in Portland, OR using high quality materials and traditional techniques. We are here to supply all of the essential tools and knowledge you need to never throw another razor into the trash again.
As the Creative Director of Portland Razor Co. I oversee day-to-day development of all brand communications and creative deliverables.

I created the packaging for the Portland Razor Co. Executive Shave Essentials line to be bold and eye-catching for merchandising purposes. The containers can all be opened and dispensed with one hand and fully comply with sanitation standards required by health authorities for use by barbers and hair stylists.

Portland Shave Shop
2016-Present
The Portland Shave Shop is the brick and mortar of Portland Razor Co. The curated space brings the brand offline and serves as a homebase for classes for both home shavers and licensed barbers. The shop hosts a retail space as well as a fully functioning barber shop where clients can book appointments and experience Portland Razor Co. product first hand.
Straight Shaving has become a lost art ever since King Gillette invented the safety razor (and the “razor and blade” business model along with it), but in recent years there has been a groundswell of people who ready for it to make a serious comeback.
To bring these skills to a new audience, I worked closely with barbershops across the country to roll out the Portland Razor Co. Certification Program in which Barbers and Stylists participate in a one day class in their area and demonstrate proficiency with a straight razor to be awarded Silver and Gold Certifications.
Included here are class photos and campaign assets used to advertise the events on social media and in email marketing.
